Recaro Seats

This is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone have, or have any idea how I can get the material templates for the recaro cupra r interior??

I have the seat skins which i'm recycling from one of scn's other members getting a leather retrim and a sewing machine etc which i know how to use

So the plan is to retrim my boring cupra interior with something a bit more individual. I just need to know I definately have all the right panels, and an idea of the layout would save me a good few hours!!

take off your standard seat trim and use that as a template.

i have the seat skins....i just need to know where the bits go.

i posted in another thread, the cupra seats in your leon now are different to the recaros (different seat) so this is gonna need some tailoring to get the skins to fit right. How much i've no idea.
Only other thing i can suggest is you get a set of mk4 golf recaro's in turdy condition for a few hundred and replace the skin with the recaro one

if youve got the skins already it should be easy enough to hold it up to the seat and bolsters to see where it goes... shouldnt need a diagram.

if it was that easy i would have done it already!

Its just really to save time and effort, but by the looks of it i'll be the one making the diagram for others to use!

I'm going to use my own cupra seats, and stuff any areas that need it so they are nice and padded since rik has brought to me attention they may be slightly different in size, but as he said, nothing a sewing machine and a woman on a mission can't sort.

I've done some big jobs before but never tackled a car interior, fancy my chances mine you. I've decided that i'm going to get some nice black nappa leather and make them half leather recaros as they may as well be a bit different if i'm doing all the work myself!!
