Hey guys, hope you're all good!

After much deliberation, i've decided that i need an exhaust on my new FR..

Main reason being that my old mk1 had one and i think i'm getting withdrawal symptoms haha plus i keep forgetting to change gear cause i'm not use to not hearing it..

Having said that, i really don't want it to be over the top loud.. Just to sound nice without blowing my eardrums out! I've never had one done myself as the last car came with it already done! For that reason i don't really know how it works and how to pick one to my liking sound wise..

Might sound like a really stupid question but we all know that i'm just a blonde bird who knows nothing about cars except the fact that she likes driving them :D

How far are you going with power wise etc? Best bet would be Milltek but they're not cheap by any means so you may need to sell your body to buy it,

I'm sure there's a few on here who'd love to donate :p

If you could hold out for a few days I could put up a video on youtube of my petrol FR with a non resonated milltek if that would help. Assume yours is TFSI?

Dirty girl haha :p

How are you getting on with her, you enjoying her I hope?

Youtube's good for sound clips usually although they're not always brilliant because of the recorders aren't always as good as they should be :)

Yes she's good cheers, love it apart from the fact that i received my log book the other day at the same time as a speeding ticket.. I blame the car for this!!! LOL

Window is dodgy so i'm hoping its just that one and not the the start of a long winded electrics issue! Oh and the tyre pressure light needs to pee off and leave me alone lol

Other then these minor offences.. I'm more then happy with the new purchase :p

Speeding ticket as well as the log book :O

Women drivers, treat yourself to a Corsa a 1.0 we'd all be safer :p

Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious with the window and put air in your tyres and the light might go out haha

I would advise looking at the "parts section" on the forum, I managed to pick myself up a full 3" exhaust system for just under £500..

500 jeeeez this car malark isn't cheap, ah well guess it'll be worth it..

I'll go look see :)

I know people like their nice flash exhausts but I find that just having the first silencer removed made a nice difference to the note of the standard exhaust :) nice and deep when driving and the occasional pop when changing gears and engine breaking yay!

See what you think as it seems to be between £60-£80 to get it done...

Does no exhaust mod make any diff to a diesel. My FR TDi could do with improvement if poss on the exhaust.
