REDLINE mag feature

Ross and I spent yesterday at Bruntingthorpe runway for a Redline mag feature on MK5 Ibiza TSi. Photos, static and moving + performance testing with GPS timing gear, 0 to 100mph and max speed. hopefully we will be in a future issue. I have a couple of vids on Youtube if someone clever could do a link thanks! Had to be done.

Ross was fighting lack of sleep and raging toothache, I had to change a rear wheel bearing and rear pads the night before, the weather was dull grey with intermittent light drizzle but somehow, it all came together on the day. Cosworth was testing some secret supercar while we were there, I tried chasing it round the track but it had no brakelights so I nearly ended up in the back of it! I have a couple of behind the scenes pics, could I email them to someone so they can post them?

So was that a Revo update on that cupra, and was it.

13:1 to a 100 mph.
Top speed 157

I think be hit just over 140, both of us were still climbing but slowly tbh and ran out of room. I was still in fifth at 130 by the end of the straight whilst Paul had got up into sixth as his has a lot more poke.

I was sub 13 secs to 100, 6.7 to 60 but that was with a bit of wheelspin and of course big heavy 18s and full interior etc.
