Hi all,

I’ve been experiencing reflections on the steering wheel mainly in the section that runs along the top (outlined in red on the attached photo). I’ve used electrical tape to cover up, but I’m looking for a permanent solution on this trim piece. Anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking sanding it (Magic Eraser, maybe?) or taking it off and sanding/ spraying it. Anyone know how to pop this piece off? Cheers!

I know the problem, and it's really annoying. I decided to paint it, but it should work with foil, too.

How did you paint yours, mate? You would need to sand it first so the paint sticks, right? Or you just painted over it?

It's just cause the plastic is glossy and reflects the sun, obviously seat height, steering wheel location, and time of day all play a factor. Just the right spot to shoot the sun in my eyes at certain times of the day, usually when the sun is directly overhead. 😞
