remap advice

hi im comming back just purchased a cupra 180 bhp and loving it again.
want a map custom code-revo-superchip.advice please.i think the revo is the most expensive.had a cc before and not as smooth as i was led to belive(although the power was good)leaning towards the superchip for some reason.

rempaing is easy ,as you no... loads of people out there...

but i have had 2 ibiza cupra's as well as 2 Cupra R leons... (both ibiza super chipped f......g loved it)

and if i had he choice again i would go for the super chip, yes i know its has to be solder in.
yes the water might get in (oneday) yes remapping is easyer,and so on..

trust me have the super chip,you wont stop (smiling), think theres a discount at the moment around £440 fitted!!!

im so sure you will love the super chip i will bet my left NuT on it..............

AmD remaps are smooth and progressive. Power is pretty much there to the redline

do they still open her up?i thought that was old school.do they not just map now like everyone else.

I'd hope they can do OBDII tuning, not desoldering as you say.

If they do still have to open ECU's up, forget it.

hi mate after a lot of thinking about it i decided to go for a remap i have the same engine as yours the 180bhp i shopped around and spoke to a lot of people onthis forum theres a lot of reputable companies connected to this forum that will remap your car but the one that stood out for me most was a company called performance torque located in wolverhampton after comparing prices from other places p-torque worked out the cheapest and bes value for money al run you through what they did from start to finish
firstly they put a diagnostic check on my car to make sure all was ok then he took it for a test drive then after test drive he put the car on a rolling road dyno test to seewhat bhp the car was kicking out from standard after the dyno test he applied the map wich took approx 20mins he then rolling road dyno tested car again before test driving it all worked out ok for me as standard my car was doing 180bhp and 183.6lb/ft torque after the remap my figures went up to this 202.6bhp and 227.0lb/ft torque the difference in power is noticeable in a big way the car just pulls in every gear and feels really smooth for the above work p-torque charged me 265quid worth every penny and i drove from leeds to wolverhampton my stage 2 remap will be coming very shortly if your going for the remap i would advise upgrading your diverter valve [dumpvalve] from the standad bosch to something like a forge split r or a forge 007p either one can be bought for around 90to 100 quid and are diy fitting. hope this helps

Take your pick, Mate. I don't think I've ever read a thread on here where someone says they've had a bad remap if it's been done by one of the VAG specialists. I have Custom-Code and I love it, others have AMD, Revo, P-Torque, etc, etc and they'll all say how good their map is. I personally went for CC because I live 10 minutes away from JBS.
