Remap after new turbo

Hi guys,

Just a quick question, still having same problems with my leon, same as stated in last post. Was just wondering if I should remap my car again now coz the turbos been changed? Could this be whats wrong with my car?

Would be grateful for any tips, advice or suggestions as I don't know where else to turn now.

Depends if you have fitted an uprated/hybrid unit whatever was fitted.

No just standard turbo. Do u reakon it could be a faulty turbo? Or would eml come on if the turbo was faulty?

Just an update, drove 30 miles from where I live, eml came in and turbo stopped working. Took it to a garage and had fault codes canceled. Turbo was fine for over 100 miles. On the way back from Liverpool and it stopped working again, but this time no eml came on. Stopped again in my local garage and plugged in diagnostics, (even though eml wasn't on) cat an fuel trim came up. Cleared codes again and turbo was fine.

Do u think a custom remap would help? Deleting the faults off ecu?

Any advice would be helpful.

Found the issue. It was a k03 that was fitted not a K03s. Car still in the garage.

Would you recommend a standard k03s or a hybrid and wheres the best place to buy please

Found out today that my car was remapped to 250bh. Now it's only 220 after new remap because of the k03 turbo quite gutted tbh

OK so in that case, get them to fit the correct turbo and have the map checked. For hybrids there's a couple of options, Turbo Dynamics, CR Turbos, Owen Developments and Turbo Technics are just a few out there, but are the one's I'd go to in that order.

Check what they mean by hybrided. Sometimes it may just be a uprated thrust bearing. The one I'd go for would be heat treated hotside turbine as then you can push the turbo harder.
