Remap?

Has anyone remapped a Ibiza Cupra TDI 160 and all the standard running gear in IE. Clutch.I am thinking of getting it done car is on 75K and never had a clutch tho?any Responses welcome cheers

The clutch will be fine on a remap, provided it has been looked after in the previous 75k miles.

They should be able to take 200hp/300lbs on the standard clutch, provided they are not abused, ie. race starts etc...

I've had mine remapped @ 55K and my clutch slips when I lead foot it in 4th/5th @ around 2k-3k revs.

It's hit or miss mate.

mine clutch slips if i boot it in 4th and 5th to not all the time theo.mines done 80k now

mine has done 73k and my clutch started to slip without remap. Reckon if u got it mapped clutch wouldnt last long on that mileage

mapped mine at 90 k never slipped so far, done 4k already, good as gold, speak to me if u want a re map and sort a deal out!

What sort of a deal?? as in just down the road (still an SO postcode) and am after a remap for my FR TDi.
