Remapped or not??

As above really chaps, is there any easy way to find out if tmy Leon FR is remapped or not? Only ask as it can wheel spin in the wet in 3rd, or is this normal?

Hard to say, the roads are so greasy at the mo'! Mine spins in 4th, but I've more hp........ Anyone with a std FR?

this also depends what quality of tyres are on the front too

in this weather its not very scientific...

wheel spin in 5th is not uncommon at the moment!

Yeah think the tyres are shot, they have been run over inflated for sure. The centres are down to the wear indicators nearly. They are Goodyear Eagle F1's.

Probably explains why I cant even go near an incline in the snow!

As Andrew has said, get it onto a rolling road to check.

I think its between £50-£70 (dont quote me on it though). We had a group buy the day we went up and got it cheaper, but there was about 12 cars getting done that morning.

John will talk you through how the car is after it though.

My standard FR doesn't spin in 3rd and it has Pirelli Pzeros on the front with about 4mm of tread on them

Im going to go and speak to John and the guys at Extreme this week and see about getting an RR day organised if you can wait. Will save you some dosh and will get you along to a meet aswell. Could be a good bit of interest with everyone spending crimbo money on new mods.
