Question, can a PHEV be remapped and if so what elements of it can be? It is just the engine element or can the electric element be done too? Anyone know?

I know ABT remaps them, but I don't know if it is only the engine or also the electric part. But when it is also the electric part, keep in mind it will affect the range of the batteries.

A quick Google says yes, the ECU on a PHEV can be remapped. I doubt anything wouild be dome to the electric part - the range is pathertic and it's a sop to avoid BIK - so it'll just be the ICE being affected.

All I found were the Tuning boxes which apparently aren't great. REVO etc couldn't come up with anything when I typed my reg in.

Not surprising (my Googling was generic - "remap a PHEV", not specific to a Formentor) - it take time after a car comes to market to develop a map for them, so if you're really interested in getting it done then a few phone calls are in order I think.
