Hi All,

It's been a while since I've posted on here but unfortunately my battery died on my Exeo a few weeks ago whilst parked at the airport (I left my lights on - they weren't on auto)

Though I'm not 100% sure, I'm convinced my windows came down / up whilst holding the remote key fob. Can anyone confirm if that is correct?

IF so, does anyone know how to reset this as unfortunately it's no longer working.

Many Thanks,

Mike

Hi.
Not sure if all models have the auto open/close function operate from the key fob, but my sport tech does.
You have to hold the open or close button down on the fob for about 3-5 seconds to operate (so you can't do it by accident I guess).

If you changed the battery in the fob maybe the key needs pairing with the car again? Try the first part of this link;
www(dot)audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/428047-How-to-program-your-Audi-flip-key-fob[/url]

If that doesn't work try the key in the lock. Turn it all the way to the lock position for a few seconds (think this closes all windows with central locking in VAG cars), and all the way to unlock to open them. That might remind the key it's supposed to work?

Only owned my Exeo for a couple of weeks so if the above doesn't work I'm sure a more wise forum member will be along to help you out! :)

This function can be enabled via VAGcom (well at least I'm pretty sure it can, it can on most VAG cars)

That's of course assuming it wasn't working before, if it was however and has now stopped working then I'm not really sure of a solution, maybe disable and re-enable via VAGcom.

Hope that helps

Bbeettaa,
You most likely need to reset the window one-touch system following the battery dying.
Ignition on
For each window:-
window all the way down
window all the way up,, let go of switch
press up again for 2-3 seconds, let go

Ignition off..
Then try the remote fob...

I used that function for the first time today - was awesome walking up to the car and having all the windows open at the press of a button before I reached it. The old guy sat in the next car just looked on in amazement, lol
