Remote locking

is it possible to set up the remote locking system using vagcom, i have tryed changing my battery in the key and that never worked, so it must need setting up, does anyone know how to do this?

I dont think you even need vag-com to do it, Nick. Try searching through the flip key thread as it tels you how to do it in there.

i had a look at the sticky for the flip key in the MK4 forum damien, and it says you need to have one key in the ignition and another key to unlock etc, i only have one key though

go get a spare cut.. the spare isnt usually remote anyway??

no idea... shouldnt be more than a house key should it?

might need prove that its your car... could be wrong here, never had to do it.

yeah im sure you need the log book...do just the usual shopping centre key cutters do it?
