So when I removed the original to replace with a DAB base, I did not remove any plastic trim...
I removed the two rear grab handles, then carefully prised the roof lining away starting around the hatch area (there are 2 clips from memory that need squeezing together with pliers and popping out) and then very gently working my way back toward the front grab handles with a blunt instrument to prise the lining out. Be extremely careful not to puncture it.
This gave me enough access to undo the nut on the aerial base!
Refitting is the same method of carefully prising the head lining back into the trim working equally on both sides from the front to the back.

If you gently prise the head lining down across the rear and look between it and the underside of the roof, you will see them or run your fingers across to feel them
