Removed Side strips

Hello ive got a mk2 ibiza in silver and removed the side strips, its left some sticky residue that looks like wax oil type stuff. just wondering what you reccomend to get it of..


Also the silver where the strips were is a slightly different colour, whats the best way to get it into a match? t-cut i believe?

Tar remover followed by clay bar i would sudgest

Mine was the same, a different colour underneath, you sure a claybar would fix this?

Stupid question but.. Claybar?

Basically a bar........... made of clay . You use it to remove bonded on contaminants like overspray, oxidation etc from the paintwork.
