Removing bumpers

Hello there,

I have a 2.0 TDI Sport in Luna grey, I've upgraded the wheels to 18s and have a set of FR front and rear bumpers arriving tomorrow. Does anyone know where I could find some information on removing the existing bumpers? I've done a search on the forum but can only find guides for the MkI Leon.

Really looking forward to getting the new ones on, seen some great photos of FR's in Luna grey on this site.

I have also purchased FR front & rear bumpers & was wondering the same. Would appreciate any advice especialy for rear bumper. If no one on the forum can offer any advice can you let me know how you get on?

Where did you get your bumpers from, im just after a front FR one.

Hi Dan,
Bought them from Seat dealer, they are brand new with the polystyrene pads still stuck on. You may be in luck if you want to buy the front bumper as i have also purchased a front BTCC bumper & side skirts which i would prefer to fit. Ive noticed your car is black & the bumper is emocion red, would you be interested?

Hi Ivesy, I may be interested in the FR bumper if Dan isnt. I have just bought an emocion red stylance so I could bolt it straight on!

guys there are loads on ebay....i was looking at front and rear cupra ones which were basically brand new with plastic bits still on, in the colour of my car too...i offered the seller 150 and he accepted. tho the other half didnt! might still be on ebay!

I bought mine brand new through a Seat dealer on the wonder that is ebay. They don't come up that often, but if you are willing to wait there is a deal to be had.

Am just waiting for them to arrive. As soon as they are here I wil get to work and let you know what I did to change them over.

I've just won a set of Emocion Red FR bumpers, for £115 inc. delivery from eBay

Is that information on removing and installing the bumpers available anywhere?

Alternatively, does anyone know how much the dealer would charge to fit?

I have four sheets of instructions for front and back bumper removal for the MKII Leon.

They look like they've been printed off from Seat's intranet, so they're not amazing quality, but they give a good indication of what to do in what order.

I will scan them and post them later, but if you want them emailing, let me know.

the front bumper is very easy to change just screws under neath and in the wheel arches and then it is just a case of pulling the bumpers of the clips i am after some info on how to change the back one if anyone can offer me any info pm me if you do have as the info that i got sent isn't exactly much use
