Hello

I have a little problem. Can you tell me how to remove front fog lights in Leon CupraR 1M? I want to polish glass that covers lenses, because after ten years it became very unclear.

I know, that I must remove fog light grills and unscrew the two screws holding the lights, but I've encountered a small problem. When I'm trying to unscrew them, the screws are turning all the time, but not coming out from the plastic body :/

Do you know if there are some retaining nuts, that holds the screws from the other side?

Thanks in advance
Equalizer.

Had same problem when i got new fog lights from euro car parts. Try to soak with wd40 or something and yes from what i remember there is bolts on the back.
And very awkward to get too.

Hi mate, it sounds like the threads have stripped on either the retaining nuts or the bolts. I'd suggest that you grip the fog light and pull it as you turn the bolts. You may need to use quite a bit of force when pulling. Hope this helps. Failing this, you may need to drill the heads off the bolts, remove the fog lights and use mole grips to remove the bolt shank. If your anywhere near Swindon and want a hand, drop me a line
