Removing front splitter on leon cupra R

Can some one please give me advise on how to remove the front splitter without damaging body work as i smashed a rock on the motorway and it took a 12inch cut out with?

Seat informed me it just clips off but im finding it tough to take off.

Any advise would be appreciated

i took a knife to mine as i couldn't get one of the clips to come out, and that was with me standing on the splitter, i just used a serated knife and cut the clip just under the bit where it slots into the bumper, it just sort of fell apart after that. easy enough to do and just watch you dont cut the bumper.

Thats the pro way to do things. lol

I masacered mine, just cut it in half in the middle then pulled the 2 sections off. Bit brutal i suppose but it worked.

they do come off! i jacked the car up !and pull at the sides first belo each wing get them unclipped! and your half way there! the middle bit is a night mare pull and wiggle like crazy! might need a mate to give you a hand! but dont worry you wont brake the bumper! putting back on in the middle i used a rubber hammer did the job! but dont be afraid to use a bit of force! good luck!!!!!
