I want to remove the rear plastic bumper cover to fix some dings and cracks but cannot work out the fixings.
There are some self tapping screws that attach to rear wheel arch and the underside of body work. There are also two bolts that protrude into boot compartment. I'm OK with all these.
But there are also two white plastic fixings that have a square cross-section they also protrude into the boot compartment. What are these? How do I remove them? Can they be removed and refitted or will removing them destroy them? I have tried to budge them but they seem to be wedged permanently in the square apperture inside boot compartment.
Once these square plastic rods are removed is there anything else that would stop rear bumper cover coming off?
Thanks for any help!!!
