Removing sound proofing

I’ve found threads about this but not for the question I am about to ask.

Wondered if someone could tell me please, removing the sound proofing from my leon mk2 fr, do you have to remove the scuttle too?

I was just wanting to take off and replace the sound proofing and put new clips as I have a broken one but reading threads it says about when taking clips then you got further more to do to remove scuttle but if I don’t need to remove that to change the sound proofing I wont

No you don’t need to remove the scuttle panels to remove any of the sound deadening in the car.
