Ive wondered about takin this out aswell. Dont know why seat didnt just put another draw in that space!

Whats your plans for that lil space mate? Sure its held on with just one torx screw? Must be more.

amplifier:)
almost definitely with a nice little chipboard thingy to mount/prevent it from moving, protect wires etc

thats a nice place to put a sub ;)

what i need to do is mount a sub in each of the backs of the front seats themselves

</crazy wishfull ideas>

by the way which direction is your sub gonna face?

You wanna do what????????? Actually IN the back of the front seats??

any ideas about getting the little panel off..? :)

Not tried to get the panel off yet mate, but a mate had a look today and it seems a very small area, altho might be ok as the sub im going to use needs a very small sealed enclouser anyway (.20cuft) ;)

Itll be facing forwards, altho If i build a normal box I can fit it in a few different ways to see how it alters the sound. The set to make a better enclosure out fo FG. I have a couple of 8" subs aswell... hmmm lol

haha only thought of subs in the seats when you said you were putting yours under it. wonder if it would actually be "possible"

my amp isn't huge, it's a JL4300, i've tried positioning it around the area, i think it would go.

may have to install some kind of little fan hooked up to the 12v, blowing out the back. i mean i still want to have the thing running and see how much heat it actually generates.

im probably going to remove the passg'r seat and see how to remove the drawer. will let you know how i get on

ahh ok fair enuff!! lol

When you take out the passenger seat be careful of the seat airbag. Take loadsa pics aswell dude, so I know whats under there for sure ;)

thats a damn good point....how is the airbag connected electrically wise...there must be power and signal and earth wires running up from the floor somewhere....
