Hi Guest we, are working on an upgrade to the forum this week, meaning the service may be unreliable at times and there will be some planned downtime at some point. Stay updated on this thread.
The FR is different to the Cupra/Boc, it's pretty much no different to techie's post, so I'm guessing yours will be the same too. Only difference is mine is/was chrome rather than the black shown in techie'spost.
I bought a trim tool for halfrauds, it's not the best but it's the only place i could find one at the time! A screwdriver will be too thick to get in the gaps
okie dokie, i'll have to pop to halfords. cheers guy
found out that my grille has gotta be bonded together grr. it came with the frame and mesh seperate. dunno whether to ask seat or ask a friend. seat might charge loads.
Halfrauds? I am sure a bit of bonding solution from them should do the trick char. I mixed up my own when I did the grille on my polo back home as it came without the mesh. So i ended using the mesh off some mine truck air filters (as they are really big) and used that on both grille and bumper.
Ooh ok.
I think the boyfriends brother should have something as he's modding cars all the time! Might have to pop over at the weekend, he should defo be able to take the grill off. without breaking it i hope lol.
Thank you Jas by the way, where did you live with a number plate like that?
Yep that looks good, put blobs around and press the grill into the sealer. It will squidge around and then leave to set. Will hold well then and should be nice and secure.
