Removing the lower centre console

Would anyone know how to get the lower centre console out, around the gear stick handbrake etc. Trying to hide cables the joys any help appreciated.

The centre of the console comes out. remove the gear lever gaiter, squeeze it in a bit at the end nearest the handbrake then grab hold of the centre to pull and lever it up.
I did have details on this task in a manual on CD but my desktop is away getting upgraded and I have not loaded the programme onto my lap top.

I need to edit this it does not read correctly!

The centre of the console comes out. Firstly, remove the gear lever gaiter, squeeze it in a bit at the end nearest the handbrake then lift up the gaiter
Then grab hold of the centre console centre section to pull and lever it up, this should provide the access you need. Be aware the whole area under the console is stuffed with foam rubber to suppress sound so you will need to find a way through that.
