hi everyone! just thought i'd share my experience..
i've replaced all the vacuum/boost pipes in my car with 4mm ones, and it seems to have made a difference.

i found that one pipe was split, it one the one going into some sort of container(??) underneith the airbox pipe. Replaced that plus all the other ones, and its a lot smoother to drive.

It used to stutter a bit when it was cold, and felt like it wasn't boosting correctly. but now its a lot better to drive, and my mates have actually noticed a difference too.

if your car is coming up to the 5/6 year mark, i really would consider replacing all the pipes, as they will be splitting by now.
a lot happier, andall for less then £4!

I'll try and get a picture up of my engine bay

Ive got loads of this stuff waiting to be put on, im just too lazy. I changed the pipe on top of my DV cos it was too short then gave up :) i need to get it done if makes things better.

mines a higher miler, and the original pipes were very worn! so did make a lot of difference in mine.
does anyone know what the bottle/container thing is - its located below the airbox pipe, near the MAF. has a grey coloured top. has one 4/5mm pipe going into it. this is the main one which was completely split on mine.
