Replacement Manifolds / FMIC?

So my manifold has seen it last days and has cracked and is splitting, I am struggling to find anything to replace it, even another standard one that just isn't cracked.

Came across these recently: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19562659...sNQy8egA1ULBhJtY0yPEV0oahQ==|tkp:BFBM7pqqsP5h

Any chance anyone has bought or used one?

What do people replace the standard ones with if going hybrid, I heard talk of porting out Chinafolds/reps (is that what the above is?)

Airtec still the only way to go with the FMIC? Are there possibilities of discounts to the £££ price tag these days?

Can you wellycooler and buy pipework(not sure where from) and still keep the fogs?

Cheers

Last time I called badger5
Re manis, they were looking to test new ones from a German engineer.
All the other stuff ( Chinafold etc ) has quality issues.
May be worth chatting with them as that was over 6 months ago.

Unfortunately it's notoriously difficult to find a decent exhaust manifold for these engines.
Most stock ones are riddled with cracks now so ready for the bin plus they're crap anyway you're after more power.
Aftermarket tubular ones can give you some gains but I subject to terrible manufacturing quality and almost always fail. I was actually very lucky with my Pro4 manifold and made good power using it but most people end up removing them due to the welds splitting.
Also bare in mind they're an absolute pig to install due to the design obstructing the access to the studs.
Your next option is a cast "Chinafold", these straight off the shelf are pretty crap and require a lot of fettling and material removal around the collector.
If not done correctly they can cause running issues so whoever does the work needs to be competent at what they're doing, with this said most of these people including Badger5 won't touch them anymore as the quality of them has dropped significantly.
Fortunately for myself I managed to source one of B5s early in-house done manifolds which was port matched to an AET380.
As mentioned above there is a German company (Turbo Concepts) which has been developing a long awaiting solution this problem and it certainly looks promising but I've not seen any updates on its progress over the past year so maybe the cost of production outweighed the demand
