Hi
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to replace my 2010 model Leon with the newer 2011 head unit (cd unit)? Any issues I need to look out for or converters?

Many thanks
Rich

Should be a straight swap. You will need a new fascia surround (same as the one for the RNS-510 satnav) but otherwise plug'n'play. Look at the thread about retrofitting satnav by DanGB and the procedure is the same other than the removal of the old HU from the pre-facelift cars. This had an integrated fascia. Your unit is like the satnav in that it's held in by 4 bolts under the clipped on fascia panel.

So clip off old fascia, unscrew bolts, unplug loom at back, install new unit in reverse order and clip on new facia.

Although if I were you I'd get an RNS510 if you can stretch to one on ebay.
