Replacing wing mirror - step 1?

Hey, I have a replacement left side wing mirror, figuring it'd be an easy job, but can't find any guides on the web for the MK3 (2014 Cupra 280 if it makes any difference). I'd assume step 1 is removing the door card, but am wary - most guides for MK2 seem to suggest the clips are delicate, so I would want to be sure I'm starting in the right place.

Any advice?
