Hi all,

Clipped my wing mirror on the side of a lorry the other day, barely damaged him of course but my wing mirror is bent out of shape with a shattered cover.

I'm looking at purchasing a new wing mirror to be fitted by a local garage, however, I am struggling to confirm I have the right part. New ones are looking like £160-180 but I've found some breakers locally who have the part for ~£90.

My question is:
Are there are differences between the wing mirrors of pre-facelift ('12-'17) and post-facelift ('17-'20) Mk3 Leon?

My car is a 68 plate FR, and I've found a wing unit locally that came from a '14 car, but I'm concerned if this will fit with the correct functionality?

Any help/guidance would be much appreciated. Merry Christmas to all!
Best regards,

As far as I'm aware there is no difference in shape/fitting but you need to make sure that it has same functions as your one, i.e heated glass, electric movement and folding motor, if it has the same connector and wire colours I think you should be OK.
