I am considering buying a Resin Filter to wash my car with, one with replaceable resin. This should speed up car washing as the car can be left to dry on its own, without leaving water marks.

Some research shows that the 7 litre RaceGlaze offering gets good reviews, but others with good reviews are available on Amazon at lower prices.

Does anyone on here use a resin filter? If so what are your recommendations.

Thanks, that is reassuring. I will get a water PPM meter.

According to my water company my water has about 300 ppm of dissolved solids.

RaceGlaze advise that the 7 litre filter should produce at least 400 liters of DI water at this level of impurity.

They also advise rinsing the car after cleaning with DI water for 30 seconds.

Assuming that this is about 5 litres, then I should get at least 80 washes before the resin needs replacing
