Respray Cost?

How much would it roughly cost to get an Cupra Rear Bumper resprayed cost? The item it's self is £250 but it's Red but my cars white ^.^

If it's red, you'd have to get the colour blasted off first, then sprayed with primer before it can be sprayed white. Not sure on costs, think it varies from garage to garage, but thats just a heads up on the work they have to carry out!

They might just key it up with some fine grit sandpaper and then prime it and re-coat it white... not sure if thats a bad thing, suppose it jsut means if you scrape it, it might show through red rather than black plastic... either way its probably going to be obvious if you scrape your rear bumper ;-)
Part of me says that spraying over the top of another colour is cheating but honestly i dont think the end result to you, the customer, will be any different, so long as they smooth out any imperfections in the original paint...

It may just be easier waiting for a white one to come up, As i don't see it being under £150 at all so it's most likely better to wait as respraying it could be more expensive.

What about vinyl wrapping? though could be hard to colour match, unless you get tons of sample pieces from an automotive vinyl retailer ;-) just sayin...

True, Sticker bombing isn't my taste should i say... Do i attempt to spray it myself...? Hmm
