14.08 second 1/4 mile @ 98.62mph. I call that a result. Car is still running factory map. (video on Youtube) Autocar measured 15.1 sec for the 237bhp Leon Cupra. Next stop, Castle Combe 24th April. Nice to see a few members at GTi Festival-Santa Pod.

when Autocar tested the Ibiza cupra, they got a 15.5 1/4 mile time, but they were 2 up with a full tank and their test car had leather and sunroof, both of which took the weight over the factory quoted figure. i ran with 1/4 tank of fuel and no spare (risky!) + other weightsaving mods inc track wheels/tyres which save 14kg over factory ones. still amazing time for a 1.4 auto - my mums Polo 1.4 auto takes about 1/2 hour to 60mph.

To the mods:my deleted post wasn't referencing to street racing,i was out of town and city speed limits,but nevermind...
