Retrofitting Tiredness recognition system

has anyone done this?
do i need vagcom to do that?

Ive had a little look around, and I can't seem to find a magic tick box to do it.

Its definitely dealer retrofit capable, but it may require some modules software to be re-flashed.

That was my interpretation, when I've tried to enable the relevant options in the car menus using VCDS I've gotten messages that the feature is not available.

Yeah. Personally I'm not a fan of it. I know when i need to take a break and on a long journey it can get annoying. Had it on a hire car I had once and it got annoying going off every 40 minutes.

Oh there are so many comments that could be made about that one liner.

I always looked at it as a if I can enable it using VCDS for free I wouldn't mind, but I certainly wasn't paying for it. If anyone that did pay for it wanted to share an adaption map of a few controllers, I could spend a bit of time trying to figure it out.

I've got it on my car, but it's never warned me in the 2+ years I've had it.

Mines done it once and TBH I couldn't see the point of it. I find the rear seatbelt warning much more useful (when I bought mine they were the two features of the 'Safety' pack)
