Hi all,

I used to be known as macnug and I owned a SEAT Leon mk2 1.9 PD TDI Stage 1 until I wrote it off in 2012. (If anyone know how to reactivate old usernames, please let me know.)

For my sins, I had then swapped for a Ford Focus 1.8 tdci titanium and have kept it for 5 years. The car was suffering lots of problem, the death of alternator was the last straw.

Yesterday I have put down a deposit to get a 2014 SEAT Leon mk3 1.4 tsi FR in blue. Should be ready to collect next Friday.

Can’t wait to get behind the wheels of a Leon again.

After reading the forums, I have learnt there is a obdeleven kit which can configure the car to do more interesting things. I guess the next thing I wanna do to the car would be that plus other visual mods.

Pictures will follow once I have taken delivery of the car.

The dealership has promised me that they will update the software before delivering. Does anyone know what is the latest software number for My Leon?

I had the car for a week now. Done 200 miles on it so far.
It has been a really wet week and not able to install the wind deflectors yet.

Obd11 has arrived and I have been adding a few mods:
1. One touch folding mirror
2. Carbon texture on FIS
3. Refuelling amount display
4. Disable stop start (my EPC light has came on a few times already. It seems my alternator is on its way out.)
5. Update mib1 to sw 0485

Got a few planned mods:
1. Retrofitting convenience pack
2. Upgrading boot strut
3. Change all the interior bulbs to LED bulbs.

The car came with a 12 months warranty so won't be doing any engine related mod until afterwards.
