Revo 5 Hour Trial?

just been looking at the revo site, well the site of a company around my area http://www.vagtech.co.uk/revo/index.htm and it says you can for free come and get it remapped and try it out to see if its right for you, lasts for 5 hours then dissappears?

has anyone had this done?

also saw about ten mins ago on this site, revo do a switch thing where you can turn it on and off, do you gotta pay extra for this or is it included in the £399 price for a ibiza fr 1.9 tdi as it says mk4 sps 1 so im assuming that is serial port switch 1

switch is extra, and yest 5 hours then it goes away mine did that when i was accelerating, was strange not sure if trial is available with tdi though

oh aint it? suppose ide have to ring and enquire. How much extra is the switch then? we talking £££'s?

Trial software isnt available on the TDi as there's not enough room on the ECU. It used to be the case there was a 30 day money back guarantee though (not sure if thats still the case or not).... not that you'll need it

Dissappears I wish. Leaves a timing code on your ecu and is a arse to get off if you want to get it mapped by another firm, but is posssible to remove, ended up with my ecu in half to get at certain parts.

that's because 2nd rate tools used by some tuners can't erase the code

which seems odd given that revo have more mapped cars than m(any) other vag tuners out there

I was told that if the new map went on, then it would switch off after 5-6 hours.
