^^^^^maybe its because unless you use specialist equipment you cannot measure to 0.1 of a second! a stopwatch will give you a rough guide eg 0-60 in approx 9secs but its impossible to be anymore accurate.

but anyway enough with the science, good luck for tomoro and i hope you get what you want. no point getting too hung up on figures its the thrill it gives you thats important!!!

very true, it's this or a type r next year which would be more expensive i reckons!

i need it to be ready for when my friend gets his back in december, i wonder how much closer it'll be! mine will have like, twice the torque to his :D

Before i got the cupra i looked at Type R's. For the price i got my brand new cupra i could have got a Type R that had +30k on the clock and looked like the previous owner had kicked the s**t out of it. Plus Type R's are common as muck! I know i made the right choice and im sure you have too - your car will be a wolf in sheeps clothing!!!!

ah those tense moments, they called this morning to say they are having internet problems (only in cornwall) and they'll have to do it this afternoon :D i bloody HATE waiting for stuff!

just had it done this morning

holy mother of christ the thing flies! the pull is so much more and so much more spread out, it's still clawing away at 4000rpm!

i'm so happy :D this is the best 450 quid i've spent in a loooong time

so why do they NEED the internet to do the remap then? lol im glad you are happy with it mate!

i think that's how they send the code to them;)

it's amazing considering our internet connections are basically carrier pigeons

but yeah, dead chuffed, just been for a nice long drive up the coast and nailed a mk4 gti on the way. its the simple joys in life
