REVO remap and dealer servicing/warranty work

Similar dilemma to you - remap with one year remaining on warranty, or wait. For me it's not worth the risk so I'm waiting.

I'm also looking at a Remap, selling the DTUK box. Any idea how often Revo seem to discount? Is it the case I just need to just keep checking the website from time to time?!

That SPS gadget looks pretty nift, quite expensive tho, when pricing up for my 184 TDI it was £500 for just the remap or £679 with Remap and SPS. Worth it?

My car (2015 FR ST 184) is also still under warranty for another year, so like the OP i'm also debating whether to remap or wait it out for a year to be safe!

Don't know how often but my garage said to me that they could tell when there was about to be an offer so have a chat with your Revo Garage and see if they can help. Mine was an Xmas/New Year deal but don't know if they do it every year.
revo say join there facebook page and they will let you know when there is a sale.


Re SPS, I only use it (and to be fair its why i bought it) so that i can set the anti theft mode.
However I do use it when taking the car into any service center and put it back to stock mode.
The rest of the time is stays in max mode.
It does have the ability to plug in a laptop but never got round to it as i have more than enough with OBD11 changes.
