Revo Stage 1 installed - omg does it fly

Hi Guys,

Just a quick update - just had revo stage one installed and I am so impressed. It is a totally different car.
Took it out for a quick spin after it had been done... the performance just blew me away.
I think now I have lots of power i need to upgrade the breaks to a brembo system, anyone got one and how much did it cost?

Oh yeah lastly. the guy recons mine is running 208BHP with 285lb. Will get it rolling roaded soon so will know exactly!

I went to Dave Goddards Motor Engineering in Thetford Suffolk - very very helpful and knows a lot about VAG cars. They have been doing VAG cars for about 15 years. I will be taking my car back there for any further mods/services etc.

208BHP with 285lb how did he come up with that if it hasn't been on the RR yet. 285lb sounds very high for stage 1

what mods you got?

a map makes the world of difference doesnt it mate

if you have standard wheels dont even think about brembo's
have a look here which wheels will clear them

I dont know how he came up with the figure - wasnt aloud in the workshop (due to health and safty) like I said ill get it RR and then see what the figures are however it does feel miles faster. 75 in second without a struggle.

As far as mods not a lot - I have only had the car 3 days!!!

So far:

Replacement temp sensor or sumfink
Forge DV
Revo Stage 1

I want to keep the standard wheels - can anyone suggest a break kit that will fit and be better than the standard one?!

Revo quote 206 bhp and 235 lbft, so no idea where those figures come from.

As to brakes, you may get away with some decent pads, such as the Ferrodo DS2500 and discs.

Glad your liking it..... When I had Revo Stage 1 had it setup and rolling roaded at JBS produced 209.9bhp and 264Ib was impressed with that.......only had it on for two weeks then changed to custom code.....

Why did you do that? Sounds like a waste of money to me unless you changed the turbo for something bigger.

im guessing mines around 250lbs of toque only cos ive upped settings on SPS3but 280 that sounds a bit off!

280lbs is the kind of torque you get with a maxed out K03s...there's no way a K03 would or could that kind of torque figure.

mine is on a K03s and as martyn says is completely maxed out, peaks at 26psi and i'm only getting 282lbs/ft. sounds a little bit high, but as long as your happy with it! i don't know what a stage 1 revo'd cupra is like. i went from standard straight to K03s spec
