i have a stage 2 with no fmic and suffer no over heating with the way i drive but im sure if i had a heavy right foot you would notice how crap the standard smic is

ive had the revo stg 2 for a month now without having the fmic fitted, car runs great!havent had any probs with over heating although i dont rag my car around everyday!the softwear gave my a car a better torque curve, and really eager throttle response, depends on which settings you have.ive got boost9 timing 7 which aint bad without the fmic, but every cars different!

seems to me like your expecting a fair bit form the upgrade. my advice is dont

oh rite well wot does it take ur 0 to 60 time down to roughly i got a 7.08s standard is it worth the money wots it like compared to the free trial map

a remap is essential, i was under the impression you already had revo stage one. if you dont then get it!

but dont make the jump to stage two without proper components. and since ibizas suffer heatsoak as stage 1, it just gets worse on stage 2. its not a requirement...but its pointless looking for more power while ignoring the standard intercooler!

stage 2 HB 9 with stock intercooler....clever!

0-60 wise, theres improvement, but 0-100 is a bigger jump

well the plan is to get the map done re root rear window washer to standerd intercooler then a month or so after get a fmic wot do u fink cars not maped yet

the actual volume of the smic is the cause of the problem, its tiny!!! spraying it with water wont help much

dont worry about it stage two has other requirements...do you have an aftermarket downpipe and exhaust?

i had the same dilema......decided to go for forge fmic and bluflame turbo back first.....now ive got an agonising save for a remap but at least i can go for stage to straight off, and it will be well worth the wait when it finally comes! your car isnt going anywhere....get the fmic and save up again...u wont get bored of your car so soon if you have to wait a little longer for a map!

i'm running stage 1 at the mo with no modifications, Stealth Racing said the car sufffered alot due to the standard intercooler, ran 194bhp but had i had a front mount would think it would be over 200 easily, the standard intrcooler is only built for standard settings so i would suggest you change it as i will, just alot of cash though!!:)

yeah iv got all the other mods got a miltek hiflow cat and miltek exaust jetex induction kit 4 bar fuel pressure reg dats all thats essential aint it. fanx for the advice fink im gunna order fmic this wknd. i have not fitted the pressure reg yet will it put a fault on the car if ran to long before remap? fanx for the advice

yeah dont use the fpr until the software upgrade is uploaded, it only takes a few minutes to fit.

this summer will show the biggest difference between stock ic and fmic
