RICA ECU upgrade on Leon 2.0 TD 170

I'd like a chip with multiple mappings (one for economy when I'm stuck in the usual traffic jams, and one for fun). Anyone know of a company that is doing this for the 170 engine?

btw. the DPF is a really good development for the environment. It's really nice not having all the usual smoke when starting up and changing gear etc.

I'm mostly a cyclist, I'm hoping the govt. taxes non-dpf cars more heaviliy so I can breath.

REVO is normally switchable for petrol cars, don't know if it could be for oil burners.

Doesn't economy normally improve on remapped cars anyway?

Not always, I had an AMD chipped 8v mk2 golf that ran loads better (not much extra power but much better delivery). Economy wasn't as good but that didn't matter.

Not a great example though as it was neither a diesel nor a turbo car.

I spoke to my tuner Star Performance about the remap for my leon FR Tdi and they advised they had built a map and it was ready to go but they were not releasing yet as they had issue with the particle filter and something else.he did not think it right to put it out yet, Now Bicketts the Seat dealer may shed more light on this but they also asked Star to map one of there FR Tdi's but Star declined due to the above reason, so all those that have it done so far i would be wary.or if getting it done ask about what the company cover you for if the filter go's.
VW's are suffering the same, is it an inferior part VAG group are using on the deisel cars?
so no remap for me until this is sorted , also its good to see that even though its good to go Star wont sell something they dont think will do our cars any good or could damage.
