Rickard Rydell raced for SEAT Sport for three years, and now the Swede is back – as he’s been drafted into the Macau squad to help SEAT win the WTCC Manufacturers’ title and Yvan Muller the Drivers’ title. Rickard last raced for SEAT at Macau 12 months ago and he can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of a SEAT Leon. “I feel right at home with SEAT and it’ll be good to work with them again,” said Rickard.

Maybe your right. It doesn't signal for definite he won't come back, but if I were Jamie Puig I would be more attracted to looking at other talent and perhaps seeing what they would do anyway, rather than resign a driver who we know inside and out and know he may not be enough.

But fact is Tiago (Monteiro) and Michael (Jourdain) have done very poorly. Admittedly the performance of the petrol Leon compared to the TDi Leon is clear but Tiago has only scored 30pts and Michael has only scored 3pts all season (The 3pts earned through his 6th in Valencia).

I would consider dropping them and getting someone else in to partner Gabriele and Yvan next season but who is available?

As far as I know Alfa leaving at the end of Macau is for deffinite and I don't see Thommo rejoining and Olivier Tielmans I am unsure about. Huff and Larini are yet to commit to Chevrolet but I think they will myself.

All depends on Halfords increasing their money then to pay for him. They did cut a lot of funding back after the Dan Eaves farce.

First practice is on in Macau at the moment. Seems to be delayed a bit, hardly surprising!
