ive gt a seat leon 110bhp diesel se 2001,

this question has been asked b4,
but ive read thro other threads and dont get a straight answer,

my car has lose of power sometimes in 3rd,4th or fith,
power comes back after restart,

first and second are fine,
ive read threads saying its the vaines or the egr,

well ive changed the maf ive cleaned the egr and i had my turbo cleaned last year,
it doesnt happen in the cold and it doesnt happen all the time, could the vaines need cleaning again all vacum pipes seem to be intact

please help im very stressed!!!!!

Sounds like the cars putting itself into limp mode, especially as it says that turning the car off and on fixes it.
Where abouts are you located? Its best to run a diagnostic on it see what error codes come up?

Any dashboard lights? Probably just needs to clean the gunk out of everything these Derv engines are hella strong.

Sounds like limp mode mate but seem to be as your putting a higher load on the engine does it happen just driving normally changing gear at lower revs? Or dies it only happen when booting it?

Have you had the car scanned for fault codes?

it doesnt happen when in low revs jus when i put my foot down,

my mate had the codes read the code is
17965 - turbo pressure control,control limit exceeded p1557 intermittent, he cleared the code but its come back,
