RNS 310 to RNS 510

Upgrading the RNS 310 for an RNS 510. Is it a straight swap and everything will work? Steering wheel controls, MFD, Bluetooth, MDI etc?

Are you selling the 310? Everything else should work I would think, but someone else will give you a definitive answer.

Not at the moment, just considering an upgrade. However I would sell it if I bought a 510.

Yeah will be fine. I upgraded my 310 to a 315. I had to fit a dab Ariel as the 310 wasnt dab but that was it.

Oh right do you have any info on how you fitted the aerial? I want the DAB to work but didn't realise it would need a different aerial.

Only needs a different one if your 310 isnt dab already as mine wasnt

Sorry I probably didn't make that very clear. I don't have DAB at the moment but if it was on the 510 I would definitely want it to work.
