Anyway you cant add video, you can only play DVDs....
To add music put it on a data CD or DVD and then next to the folder or song there is an icon you can press and it will say copy.... same once it is on the HD except it will say copy, move or delete....
Why do you want to know how to delete stuff if you havent got anything on it yet???

I have found its best to put your songs in folders obviously but also in a folder called 'Music' that way when you want to put more on you can just copy the whole folder called music in one go.... all the unit asks is if you want to add to the existing folder and copy over anything already there.... does that make sense???
