I've got mine within 2 days which is great. Another positive thing is that it all works fine. I have got 4 dvds one for the update solely. The only downside is that if someone is travelling across the continent you can't just type your destination and follow the route like in the Garmin or Tomtom. There is not enough coverage on a disk you're actually using. Example to get back home I would have to use 3 different dvds 
Otherwise everything works faultlessly and like others have said all other functionality and media are unaffected. Generally pleased with the purchase. It seems to take 7 digit postcode too but still it is not great comparing it to the mobile navigation units.
