Hi

Practically a year with my SE Tech 143 and run up 30K on the clock.

All running well although the front tyres need replacement in the next few weeks

Still love the car but have been slightly disappointed at times with the iPod integration and am seriously considering replacing the RNS-E as I would also like rear camera function and other options

I am looking at A} Zenec NC3141D or B] the new Dynavin N6 – A4 both of which are designed to fit Audi A4 / Seat Exeo with an OEM look.

Does anyone have any experience of these units or can offer other alternatives?

If I go ahead I may have a RNS-E to sell in a few weeks, anyone interested?

Cheers

You know you can have rear view camera with rns-e.

You will require a box that enables you to plug video inputs in which then goes to rns-e. Have a look at kufatec.co.uk or have a look on .audi-sport.net next time I'm on my computer ill do some digging and post some links

Hi

Thanks for the info

Did read this somewhere but sounded a bit expensive

However, this is only one of the new options and features I hope to gain from replacing the RNS-E

Cheers

hi pal, ive stubled accross this thread after searching exeo rnse for sale! I have an A3 8p and Im looking for teh exeo version of the rnse so i can replace the fscias and keep the OE look. I hate the chrome knobs, just crying out to be stolen!
Im interested in your unit of it is for sale?

PM me if available?

Thanks

Paul

Hi
Sorry but can't PM yet
My RNS-E is now removed from car and will be listed or eBay with GPS antenna and 2014 discs this weekend. However I can't find my code card so will be sold without
Regards

I'm interested if you wanted to save ebay fees etc.

It would be easier if you could get the code from seat, they do it for free while your waiting if you book it in. But sure if I could get the code if I bought it. Don't dealers etc just think that it's stolen?

Email me on [email protected] on how much your looking for it and I could pay via paypal.

Thanks

Paul

I know it is considered bad form to reply to your own post, however the more I look at this, the more I'm attracted to one.

It does everything I could ever hope for, and more, and as I intend to have camera front and rear, this works fine for that too. I also use an FM blaster in order to listen to my podcasts on my phone through the car's stereo, this one has Bluetooth with A2DP built in so I can drop that.

I feel a Crimbo pressie to myself coming on, any thoughts?

Hi
Just like to comment on my experience of replacing the very good but somewhat limited factory fitted RNS-E with a unit that offers more update features such as A2DP, full iPod integration, improved control over audio setting, Improved Sat Nav, PDC camera options and more. I also wanted the OEM look and be compatible with the Bose system in the car.

There appear to be a number of options and different price levels from various suppliers many of which are shipped direct from China under various unknown brands

Many of the units do appear similar in look but the important thing for me was the software, to me these things live or die on the quality of the interface and software.

After research I was left a bit concerned about the reports on the general quality of the direct from China brands, although these are low cost the user reports on the interface and software were often poor. many of these did not include Sat Nav functions

Eventually I arrived at two (unfortunately more expensive) possibilities, the Zenec NC3141 which has been around for a year or two and the Dynavin N6 A4 which has recently been launched and has had good reports. I believe these are designed in Europe and manufactured in China.

I went for the Dynavin N6 A4 and the installation was very much plug and play and I’m very pleased with the result.

I’ve only had it installed for a week but love the look and improved sound from the unit and the control over my music sources. I am still playing with it and discovering something new almost every day. Well pleased and highly recommend

I've been tempted by the Dynavin N6 too, but I need to justify raiding the piggy bank that much ;)
Have you played much with the "Onboard computer integration" they advertise? I assume it means more than just interfacing with the MFD display on the dash.

I'm afraid my piggy bank won't stretch to the dizzy heights required in order to purchase the Dynavin N6 A4, and it certainly won't go up to the even more expensive Zenec unit.

I agree with you in regards to the software being the key.

I'll have to look for a review!

Don't forget you can have a 'free 14 day trial' thanks to the distance selling regs ... obviously you need to make sure you keep it pristine during that 14 days.

Love to see pics of lm62's setup now.

Yes the Dynavin is not cheap, I've part funded it as an early Christmas present from members of my family.

Really like the unit and sold my RNS-E to help fund it

Cheers
