RNS510 Aux problem

if it helps when i fitted my rns 510 i had to change the wires round for the aux port due to this problem. if you look at the wiring diagram on the top of the rns 510 unit it tell you which connectors are for the aux port, check the wiring in the car is actually going to the right connectors, you can pull apart the wiring blocks and change the wires around to get it working, sounds hard but is easy

Yep. This sounds exactly like what I'd found when I had a quick search.

Im guessing you aint got a video of this lol.. Im sure its very easy but not for me, Im not very technical..

That's what I had mate. Brought a special tool (cheap) to remove the pin and swap it in the wiring block.

Seat had obviously got it wrong once and broke a connection pin, as I could see they had cut a pin off of an unused cable and soldered it back onto the one they had damaged!

Im guessing the normal seat radio and RNS wiring blocks are opposite way round then? Is it as easy as just swapping round?

If you make sure it's correct to the wiring diag on the top of the unit (as said above) you should be fine.
