Hey yeah my post wasn't clear lol.
I bought a 22grand car, leon cupra with xenons, bluetooth an extras. If it had sat nav as an extra it would be a 24grand car.
So when i come to re-sell the car, i can base it on a 24grand car minus depreciation etc. So it will add some value to the car, maybe when i come to sell it, it wont be the full optional extra price but in no way should i loose money.
Anyways, this isnt the primary reason i bought it, bought it coz it looks kool lololol.
Make money, loose money, itll be reet!

You could probably remove the unit and resell for a good amount near your purchase price instead. That is where the money would be recovered the most IMO

Hey Yeah fitted all ok, just the fascia surround was for left hand drive cars, stupid spanish dude lol. Not an issue, picking up the correct fascia in morning from seat huddersfield. Will post pics tmoz!
PS: where did people put there GPS antenna? Couldnt find anywhere for it to be honest.....so its kinda loose till i fit the fascia then il put it somewhere more suitable.. I notice its magnetic, but i couldnt find any metal to stick it too..all seemed plastic, i read someone put it above there glove box in the dash, but i couldnt find a way through the plastic to get it above the glove box, any tips?

you managed to get everything sorted now with the sat nav. Still looking and you really got a good deal, dont know if anyone is still reading this post but anyone know where i may be able to get one too, really want the seat version and can only find vw one on ebay

not installed one myself as i still cant get my hands on one!!!!.... but i would think that a good place for the gps would be on behind the trim on the top of the window behind the rear view mirror, not sure if this would work as it would mean the gps thingy would be upside down.. just a thought
PS: anyone know how to transfer music to the hard drive? I put a CD in but dont get the option to copy to the hdd... wondering i its only certain formats it lets you copy? I have tried a bought CD from the shops, clubland whatever, but that doesnt let me copy it. I have tried my own burned CD's and no option to copy either... but i use windows media player to burn the CDs so im wondering if WMP converts it to another format (WMA?) not MP3.... anyways..

When i fitted mine i like you thought about the glove box area
cant recall how many screws i took out but the only place i could then find was to near to the airbag system for me
So i took the aircon/vent control unit out and fitted it behind there and its great no problems
