hi all!

I have an rns510 fitted, and in every door i have alumembran speakers with quite a nice sound, but from half of the volume it starts distort. so i also have a solid audio ms4 400w amplifier with 4 channels. i heard someone head some trouble with OEM headunits after fitting an amplifier. does anyone have any experience with rns510 after fitting an amp? will i have some problems? maybe the akku won't like it? any idea? thank u!

WIth the OEM units, you have to use a line level converter, so you convert your speaker outputs to RCA output. In theory the OEM unit won't know about the amplifier.

I've read that you will want to use the front speaker outputs instead of the rears as the rears have had some bass filtered.

i'm sorry but i don't really understand this...maybe my poor english :(
and can you show me alink about that line converter?:) thx

I can't link as I'm a newbie

but google 'Celsus PACS0EM4 Four Channel Converter'

you connect it to your speaker outputs from the stereo and it will convert it into line level (RCA) so you can connect it to an amplifier.

Does the RNS510 hahve RCA output? i connect the amp to the headunit, and when i connect the speakers to the amp, i should use this: Celsus PACS0EM4 Four Channel Converte or something like this? and this way i won't have any trouble? does it worth the price? will i get a higher volume without distort?

The rns does not have RCA output to my knowledge, so you need the line level converter.
