Road noise

Hi all

so I’ve had my cupra Leon since January and I must admit I do love the car.

The only thing that’s slightly annoying is the road noise. Although it’s a very minor issue that definitely doesn’t impact on anything really I was Just wondering if people have found any tires that will help reduce this. It’s on the 19” standard wheels (which I’m not a huge fan off) but the only place I can Think to ask is a forum of people who own these cars.

Mine has Bridgestone and they are very noisy, the grip isn't great either. A softer compound tyre will be quieter, but wear faster, so just compare the dB rating of others to find the best.

I also have the Bridgestones but I can't say they are loud, maybe music up too much or just a bit deaf in my old age. Never had any grip problems either, once they are warmed up to temp.

Lovely looking car but I would say that because I have one also. I like the wheels (same as yours) as they are so easy to clean (after the abarth I had before).

I think the road noise is an issue on Seats in general lol. My wife has had two Leon FRs (1.4 & 1.5 TSI) and they can be noisy. Mines also a little noisy although I have the Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 on mine (came with the car).
