I thought I'd let you guys know about some roof bars I recently purchased for my MK4 Ibiza.
I've seen loads of questions on here about bike racks and from personal experience steer clear of the roof mounted racks, they rip the plastic spoiler off the top of the boot.
Anyway I managed to get a blinding bargain from a company called www.roofbox.co.uk
For £83, thats for everything including two bike holders, you get:
Alot cheaper than Thule!
All in all very good quality stuff made by a manufacturer called FAPA who supply most roof racks that you see on commercial vans etc...They supply the manufacturers so they make pretty good quality stuff.
It all works really well and fits to the car with ease, we've been out on two weekends and both occasions drove over 80 miles down the motorway at 60mph with no problems.

A pair of roof bars
Custom fit foot kit (You can swap these if you ever sell your car to fit the new car)
In my case I bought a pair of Bike Holders (racks) They clamp around the bike to hold it firmly in place
And finally they supply good quality thule locks to lock the bikes to the racks
