Hi All

I've see the official Cupra Terramar Roof Bars are advertised as available via several outlets.

Having had Thule Evo Wingbar on my Formentor, I expected them to transfer across models. But not only are the roof bars significantly further apart (requiring 128cm bars) but the raised rails on the Formentor are now closed bars, so even the feet don't fit

I liked the Thule feet, as they just lifted the bars enough to allow for the sunroof to open. Does anyone know the details of the official bars? I assume they are rebranded Thule, but any feedback would be useful.

The images look like they are quite 'high'.

Thanks as always

I'm not sure about the Cupra branded roof bars, but there are plenty of options and styles that Thule offer for the Terramar.

If you're in the UK, Roof Box is a good company to order from...

I've previously had a Formentor too and had the Thule Edge Wingbars, but for the Terramar I've opted for the SlideBars, which work rather well for loading onto the roof bars as they slide out away from the car, so you can avoid scratching the car or having to lean over the roof.

I've had a look on roofbox.co.uk, and it currently lists only the Thule bars as being compatible with the Terramar. Does anyone think this might just be because it's too early for the details to have updated in the databases? Or for other manufacturers to make fixing kits for the Terramar? I was hoping to save some money and use a different brand.

Looking at the the rails, they look pretty similar to what you'd get on an Audi Q3 (the current, not new - they're identical to the new) or other similar C-segment cars. What are the odds the bars I had for my Ateca would fit? Would be a bit of a risk if I only find out they don't on a motorway I suppose..
