Has anyone tried this yet? Presumably the 5dr roof bars still work, but was reading in evo magazine about noise problems with roof bars fitted to an Octavia vrs with sunroof. I guess that sunrrof is near identical to the Leon one?

I read that article in EVO as well. I have a Leon St with panaromic roof and use the thule wingbars and haven't had any noise issues. Even with three bikes on the roof I wouldn't say it is any worse than a car without a sunroof. If you have the sunroof open then it is very noisy so not sure if that's what the article was referring to. Even with the sunroof tilted the noise is really bad above 30mph.
Hi all regarding roof bars I had them on my Altea, will I be able to use these on my Leon if I change the foot pack if so any idea on codes ? Thx in advance
I'm not worried if the noise is only there with the roof open, the article was just a bit unclear as to whether the noise was with it open or shut! Don't need the roof open when carrying bikes
My dealer claims that wingbars can't be used on a Cupra MY16 due to the panoramic roof and that I must buy their OEM version that looks like crap. Is it so?
Will wingbars fit? Can the panoramic roof still be opened, depending ofcourse on what you put on the wingbars?
